Fried onions

Description

Fried onions are used in cooking to add flavor and texture to dishes. They are especially popular on California sushis, also named "California Crunch". They are also perfect to add crunch to salads or hot dogs.

Fun Fact

In restaurants, you can usually find sushi sprinkled with fried onions, however, they are very rare in Japan. Classic sushi has been adapted to cater to Western tastes and preferences.
